The ingredient of Frozen chocolate cherry mousse

  1. 200g milk chocolate, chopped
  2. 3 eggs, separated
  3. 1 1/2 cups thickened cream, whipped
  4. 415g can stoneless black cherries in syrup, drained, chopped
  5. 2 tablespoons Kahua liqueur
  6. Canned cherries, to serve
  7. Milk chocolate curls, to serve

The instruction how to make Frozen chocolate cherry mousse

  1. Grease a 7.5cm deep, 10.5cm x 25.5cm (top) loaf pan. Line base and sides with baking paper, allowing a 3cm overhang on all sides. Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high (100%) for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring with a metal spoon halfway through cooking, or until smooth. Cool slightly.
  2. Stir in egg yolks until just combined. Stir in cream, cherries and liqueur. Using an electric mixer, beat eggwhites in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form. Fold eggwhite, in 2 batches, into chocolate mixture.
  3. Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Cover. Freeze overnight or until firm. Turn onto a plate. Top with cherries and chocolate. Serve.
